Supervision
My Philosophy
My philosophy regarding supervision can best be described as collaborative. We all come to the field with different passions, strengths, backgrounds, and resources. In my work with supervisees, we take the time to explore individual clinical interests while preparing to act professionally and competently in high-level clinical environments.
Much like my therapy practice, supervision follows a client-centered, trauma-informed framework. The focus is on building on existing strengths while discovering and leaning into growing edges. We will take opportunities to practice things we aren’t skillful with yet to build confidence and work through feelings of imposter syndrome. The sorts of clinicians I prefer to work with are curious, open-minded, client centered, and motivated to provide ethical treatment.
