About Me

I’m Jonathan Hoffmann and I have a passion for figuring stuff out.

It started when I was a kid and it got me into a fair amount of trouble. But that time in my life lead to a passion for learning and exploration. I became fascinated by the concepts I discovered in the fields of psychology, philosophy, art, and literature. My sensitivity lent itself to introspection and big feelings. Feeling the call to doing something more meaningful, I began my MSW in 2013 at the University of West Florida. I graduated in 2015 and began working int he field in 2017. My LCSW came in 2020, with my qualified supervisor being earned in 2024. I’m currently working as the Social Work Field Director for the University of West Florida as well as adjunct professor, teaching a master’s level substance use treatment course.

I’m currently preparing to pursue my Ed.D. this coming Fall, 2024, and am excited for the opportunity to continue my own education. In my time away from work, I enjoy hiking, performing music, mountain biking, traveling with my partner, and spending quality time with my 3 dogs.

“Jonathan is ok, I guess.”
